Remember when you were a kid lost in your imagination with your toys scattered across the floor? You with your favorite toy; maybe it was a cowboy, an action figure, a doll or a teddy bear. It doesn’t matter which one you had because we’ve all felt that unbreakable bond that a kid has with their favorite toy. But what if that bond was tested? What if the bond was so strong, the toy took on a life of its own to leap into hell with the hope of returning you home.

Edited this video together for fun. At the resurgence of Kate Bush’s Running up that Hill (A Deal with God), I kept seeing scenes/panels in my head while listening to it. So I had to put this together, and I think the edit came out great!
Napoleon from the Machine follows a man struggling with depression who must use his extraordinary powers of illustration and imagination to save the world from a global terrorist organization, The Angels. As he battles external threats, he also faces the internal challenge of managing his mental health, where his creations both reflect and amplify his inner turmoil.

Our titular hero has the power to manifest anything he draws to life; except the dead. Before the present story, Napoleon was always helping people. Well, technically. He never was on the field performing heroic feats, but it was his caricatures and objects that he drew. It all began when he saved a city in Japan from a tsunami years prior. From then on, he was given the moniker, Kami (god), but no one knows who Kami truly is.
Justine is the personification of hope, a genuine heart of this story. She is a lover of comicbooks. So much so that she's able to recognizes Napoleon’s need for a friend. In her own way, she tries to take care of him… until he has to protect her.
One of the first caricatures drawn by Napoleon, The Man in Black. He is one of Napoleon's most meaningful drawings because of what he represents. A symbol for those to believe in. The Man in Black's current objective is to protect people from bad things. There's a caveat though. Because of Napoleon's current state of mind, his intent causes the Man in Black to protect a small area of the neighborhood he resides in.
The Sentinels (First Appearances will be in Issue 3) are what Napoleon believes his grandparents looked like. Because he was an orphan, Napoleon didn't have access to the details of who his parents were. All he knows is that he is of Haitian, Dominican and Irish decent. Napoleon created an origin story for himself, fabricating a story that he derived from super beings like the Sentinels.

The Angels are a group of people from all over the world that make up their organization. They’re fed up with war, famine, crime, classism and other things that doesn’t benefit society for the better. The birth of this group is unknown, but we do know it grew exponentially Kami's (Napoleon) absence. In turn, ignited the will to take matters into their own hands and fix the human race.
Do you see that translucent wall up there? Beyond that, there’s a lot of stories going on, like too many to count. Space operas, exploration, soldiers fighting on ring worlds, an endoparasitoid alien attacking crew ships or guardians protecting the galaxy. If you ask me, defending Earth from the universe sounds like a lot of paper work. That’s why Arby, one of the last few Martians, is doing everything in his power to save it… unless he’s eating or playing video games. - Rim
